Wilf Roszell
Mr. Roszell was an employee of the House of Industry in the early 1930s. He worked at the building from 1949 until 1977 as well as the superintendent. During his second job, the House of Industry had turned into a seniors home known as the Home for the Aged. It was still quite similar to the House of Industry, but the focus was more on retirement and care of the aged.
In 1991, the Museum's archivist Bonnie Callen interviewed Mr. Roszell about his experiences working at the building. This is his story.
Information taken from the transcript from the recorded interview.
